Soft Skills Session: Building the Foundation for Professional Success
The MCA Department organized a Soft Skills Session titled “Building the Foundation for Professional Success” on 11th April 2026 at 10:00 AM for MCA and BCA students. The session aimed to improve students’ communication abilities, personality development, professional behaviour, teamwork, and employability skills, which are essential for academic growth and career success.
Students actively participated in various discussions and activities focused on enhancing confidence, workplace etiquette, and interpersonal skills. The session emphasized the importance of soft skills in professional environments and encouraged students to develop a positive attitude towards continuous learning and self-improvement.
The programme was informative and beneficial, helping students understand the significance of soft skills in building successful careers.



SQL & PL/SQL Workshop
An intensive SQL & PL/SQL Workshop will be conducted from 16th June to 23rd June 2025, from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM at the 3rd Floor MCA Lab. The workshop aims to provide participants with a strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL concepts through practical, hands-on sessions.
The sessions will be conducted by Prof. Anagha Sawant, Prof. Neha Shah, and Prof. Neha Dhakol, who will guide students through fundamental and advanced database topics including DDL, DML, PL/SQL programming, and advanced querying techniques. The workshop will help participants strengthen their database management skills through interactive learning and practical exercises.



Expert Talk on “Career Opportunities Across the Globe and Cyber Security”
An insightful expert talk was conducted by Mr. Anand Shinde, a renowned IT Security Expert, for MCA, BCA, Cyber Security, and MBA students. The session highlighted emerging global career opportunities in the IT sector and emphasized the growing importance of cyber security in the digital era. The speaker shared valuable insights on global technology trends, essential technical skills, and internationally recognized cybersecurity certifications. The session motivated students to continuously upgrade their skills and explore global career prospects in the rapidly evolving IT industry.



The National Safety Day Celebration
Suryadatta Group of Institutes under the aegis of Suryadatta Education Foundation celebrated National Safety Day on 4th March 2026 with active participation from students, faculty, and staff.
The programme was organized based on the theme “Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety.”
The event began with a Safety Awareness Rally where students carried posters, banners, and slogan placards promoting safety awareness.
After the rally, a formal session was conducted in the auditorium.
On this occasion, Dr. Sanjay Chordiya addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of physical, mental, social, and environmental safety.
He highlighted awareness about road safety, pollution control, healthy lifestyle practices, digital safety, and personal hygiene.
A Safety Pledge was administered to all students and staff to encourage responsibility towards creating a safe and disciplined environment.
Students from different departments also delivered speeches on various safety-related topics.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks and reinforced the message that safety is everyone’s responsibility.



Guest Session on Metasploit Framework
The MCA Department organised an insightful guest session on
“Introduction to Metasploit Framework for Cyber Security” on 18 September 2025 at the Cyber Lab, Building 1. The session was conducted by Mr. Prathamesh Dabir, Faculty, Suryadatta College, for MCA students specialising in Cyber Security.
During the session, students were introduced to the fundamentals and architecture of the Metasploit Framework along with practical demonstrations on exploit searching, payload generation, and ethical penetration testing. The hands-on learning experience enhanced students’ understanding of modern cyber security tools and techniques.
